2009 Advanced Skills Camp
Dates: June 19-21, 2009
Times: Friday 6pm – 10pm (CheckIN-5pm at Tri Towers-Residents) (Commuter Checkin-5:15pm in Lobby of the MACC)
Saturday 9am – 8pm
Sunday 9am - Noon
Location: MACC Center
Eligibility: Camp is open to all high school players who will be eligible to compete during the 2009 season. Campers will be placed according to skill level.
Enrollment Limit: 100

The Kent State University Girls Basketball Advanced Skills Camp will afford you a great opportunity to enhance and improve your individual skills. Regardless of your team’s style of play, we will teach you advanced techniques that will help you prepare yourself for the upcoming season. The camp will focus on specialized position work for the guard and forward positions. Instruction is tailored to the age and skill level of each athlete.
AREAS OF CONCENTRATION
Point Guards – Breakdown moves with the ball, proper outlet technique, shooting off the dribble.
Guards / Forwards –Shooting off the dribble, advanced entry passing to the post.
Centers – Advanced post moves, getting open without the ball, proper outlet technique.
Forms: Each camper should bring the KSU Medical Care form with them the first day of camp. That form is available to download by clicking on the KSU MEDICAL FORM on the left hand side of this page.
